The Supski hard paddle board comes with the pole paddle system consisting of two pole paddle assemblies, eight anchor blocks, eight eye bolts, two end blocks with knobs and a carrying case. Also included are a three piece regular paddle and leash.
Anchor blocks slide up and down the tracks and lock in place allowing for accessories to be attached. Create the perfect fishing setup or leisure time rig.
The design for having accessories attach to the tracks was based on another prototype that was being developed at the same time the Supski was being perfected. This design proved to be too heavy but the ability to attach accessories to the track in our current board was born.
Tracks Embedded in a Paddle Board
A foam core is shape with two channels in which the tracks are inserted and then the board laminated with fiberglass. The enbedded tracks are hidden from view.
Swapping out the pole paddles and inserting the anchor blocks only take seconds as seen in this earlier prototype video. Then you're off and paddling a paddle board like a kayak.
Based upon my research, I envision creating a big impact with kids.
The Supski was designed for cross country skiers in the summertime as an outdoor workout.
Having watched many paddle boarders, I know the pole paddle system will be beneficial.
These existing markets can be targeted as well.
Embedding the tracks into hardboards creates a world of uses for the board.
This concept board should turn a lot of heads.
Swap of the pole paddles and slide in a seat and go kayaking.
Attach gear and go fishing.
The paraplegic community has expressed serious interest.
I want to target rental companies, many of whom I have been emailing for the past five years. Their investment in pole paddles could pay off in no time and create new revenue generating assets for them. I provide referrals thru zip code search on the Supski website. The dealers would also be included in Supski promotions.
Many hotels are franchises opening the opportunity for volume sales to one client.
Promoting the Supski at paddle board races is part of the job.
Exhibiting at trade shows, big and small.
